• More than one-third of the world's population is children.
• 78% of the world's children have never heard the name of Jesus.
• The probability of someone receiving Christ as their Savior is 32% for children between the ages of 5 and 12, but only 4% for children between the ages of 14-18 and only 6% for people older than 19.

These statistics challenge us to make ministry to children a top priority at our local church.

At the Laurinburg Church of God of Prophecy we see children as not the future of the church but also it's present.  Children make up 25% of our congregation and are important to it's operation.  Our children are active in many activities including drama and mime ministries (Hands 2 the Man).  We are looking forward to more activities in the future as God has blessed us to be able to reach out to our local community.  "Our purpose is to train children in the word of God so they will be able to face this evil world knowing they have a savior in Jesus Christ who is there to meet their every need."  Please come join us in our Children's Ministry where we are expecting a mighty move of God among His children.
